Amos Privacy Policy

Version 1.1 — Effective September 24, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Amos LLC ("Amos," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Amos web application and related services at runamos.com and app.runamos.com ("Service"). It applies to two groups of people:

If you are an End User, the business you deal with is responsible for how it collects and uses your information; we process it on that business's behalf. Questions about that business's practices should go to the business. Questions about Amos's practices can come to us (Section 10).

1. Information We Collect

From Customers (account holders): - Account details: name, email address, phone number, business name and address, password (stored only as a secure hash). - Billing details: subscription status and history. We never see or store full card numbers — subscription payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your payment details directly. - Settings and preferences: business hours, notification choices, branding, sender email, and similar configuration. - Usage and technical data: log entries (IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps), device push-notification tokens if you enable notifications, and error reports.

Entered by Customers about End Users: - Contact and property details: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, property notes and measurements. - Work records: jobs, schedules, quotes, invoices, payment status, photos of properties and completed work, notes, and chemical application records. - Communications: text messages, emails, and replies exchanged through the Service.

From End Users directly: - Information you submit on hosted pages: quote requests, booking requests, portal logins (by emailed link), and payment details — which are collected by Stripe, not by Amos, when you pay an invoice or save a card with a business.

Cookies and browser storage. We use only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security token that protects forms from forgery. The app also keeps working data on your own device using standard browser storage (local storage, session storage, cache storage and IndexedDB) so pages load quickly and field work you do without a signal can be saved and sent later. That data stays on your device, is tied to your login, and is cleared when you sign out. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use End User information to advertise or market to End Users. A Customer's data is used only to provide the Service to that Customer.

3. How We Share Information

We share information with the service providers that help us run the Service, each used only for the purpose named:

Your browser may also make requests to these providers' networks (for example, loading a map or a font) as part of displaying a page.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Amos, our Customers, or others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of Amos LLC, in which case this Policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

4. Text Messages

Text messages sent through the Service are sent by the Customer (business) to its End Users, using phone numbers the business provides. Standard message and data rates may apply. To stop receiving messages from a business, reply STOP to a message from that business (you may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT or END). We record the opt-out for the number the message was sent to; contact the business directly with other questions about its messaging.

5. Data Retention

Customers may delete individual records within the Service at any time; deletion in the Service removes the record from active use and it ages out of backups on the schedule above.

6. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted backups, tenant isolation within the application, hashed passwords, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify affected Customers as the law requires.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Customers can view and update account information in the Service, export their data, control notification settings, and cancel at any time.

End Users should direct requests to access, correct, or delete information to the business that holds it, since that business controls its records. If you contact us instead, we will help route your request to the business or, where the law requires us to act directly, act on it.

Depending on where you live (for example, California, Oregon, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Location of Data and Changes to This Policy

The Service is operated from the United States and information is stored in the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you consent to processing in the United States.

We may update this Policy. For material changes we will notify Customers by email and update the version and effective date at the top of this page; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
